I won the Open Water Competition in El Campello (Alicante)

Only three days after I won the Gold medal in Budapest, I swam in Alicante. 1'5 km in the sea and I got to win!!!

I won the GOLD medal in the Acuatlon WORLD Championships!!!

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

The acuathlon this time was changed to 1000m swimming and 2,5km running because of VERY cold water: 14 C! Freezing! But with a wetsuit it was ok. And the SUN actually came to greet us just at the starting line:-D.

The race: I got a very good start: went first the first half of the race in the water, then a german woman passed me. I followed and got 2nd out of the water. Out of breath and in a hurry, I had to tear off the wetsuit, put on my shoes and start running. The cold air was easy to breathe and gave me new energy so I made to pass the german by 1km. I was running first a few minutes and that felt GREAT:-) But then 2 girls from Australia and Brazil came very fast and took the lead. I was already gasping for air so I could not go any faster, and the 4th girl was coming very close... But the goal was close and I made it till the end!

FIRST in my category (30 - 34years) in the WORLD!!!

And my boyfriend, Mateo Pesquer, also won the gold medal in his category (35-39years). So today we are celebrating 2 VICTORIES in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN ACUATHLON, BUDAPEST 2010!!!

3th in the Garrucha's Acuatlón (Almeria)

Very hard race in Garrucha, running quite fast 2'5 km. above the sun, swimming 1km and running another time 2'5 km.... Trina got the 3th position in this competition which was Andalucia's championship also, so there were very good triatlethes.

Trina won in open water competition in La Marina

Another victory in Alicante in the Marina's beach. The open water competition started in the Pinet beach and finished in La Marina's beach swimming near 2'2 km.

Trine was second in Portman cross in senior category.

5'2 km in a 30º at 8 pm... Quite warm but Trine was the 4th in general position and 2nd in senior category, getting a new tropry...

2nd trophy in the seem weekend, this time in El perello (Valencia)

Trine won next day Gadalest in EL perelló (Valencia) getting a new trophy in a 3000 open water competition in the sea. She needed 41 minuts to swim near 3 km.

Trine won a new open water competition in Guadalest

Trine got a new trophy winning in Gadalest in a 2'5 km.open water competition. Trine needed 34 minuts to swim the distance.

Trine ran the Kristiansand half marathon in Norway

Trine ran a cross country half maraton in Norway, where her parens live in Kristiansand. Trine got a very good time 2 hours 23 minuts. Her brother Orjan ran also getting a time of 2 hours and 19 minuts.

Trine wan Gent per Gent in Valencia

Another trophy for  Trine, this time in Valencia in Gent per Gent, the day after the Spanish Campionship in Barcelona. It was 1500 meters.

Trine got the Spanish Champion in open water

Trine swam the open water Spanish championship in Barcelona, in the Olimpic padling Channel in Casteldefels. She swam 3000 meters in 41 minuts.

Trine won the San Pedro del Pinatar acuatlón.

Trine got the first place running very clever and swimming very fast, getting 2 minuts respect the second.

Trine was 2nd senior in the Castillo de Santa Barbara race in Alicante

Next day the first open water competition in Valencia, Trine went to run a race in Alicante. This was the climbing to Santa Barbara Castle in Alicante. This race was only 2'8 km. distance, but the race go up all the time.

The race started at 11 o´clock in the morning with near 1800 runners in a narrow street in front of the council place.

Trine got a new trophy 'cause she was the 2nd in senior category and 5th in general clasification.

Trine won Playa de Pinedo open water competition

On 5th juny at 11 o'clock in the morning, was the Playa de Pinedo (Valencia) open water competition with 1'8 km. distance along the beach.

Near five hundred swimmers swam this race 'cause this is very popular in Valencia and 'cause this was the first open water competition of the year.

Trine got a very good clasification winning in her cathegory and being 2nd in the general, finishing the race in a very good time of 23 minuts, the best 15th time of all.

Trine won the gold medal at Acuatlón Spanish Championships

Last 29th May at Aguilas (Murcia), were the 12th Acuatlon Spanish Championships edition, 2'5 running, 1km. swimming and 2'5 km. running.

Trine was the Spanish Champion in GE 30 - 34 and in the race she ran. She started slowly and went into the water in 24th position, but swimming she got the best time and started 3th the last part running, but soon she got to be the first, running in the head.

She got a very good time, 38 minuts and the gold medal in 2010 edition.

4º position in 10 km race in Alpera

On saturday 24th April was the Otilio Delicado race in Alpera (Albacete).

There I was the 4th in my category and the 7th in the general clasification. It was a very hard race because it was a warm day and before I was swimming in Los Arenales del Sol for half hour.

But I ran fast and feel well running with a lot of people in the race, near 700 atlethes. I got a lot of presents from the race: a bottle of wine, a bag, tshirt...

Trine won in San Vicente

On sunday 11th April I won my first race in La Nucia (Alicante)J




It was the 8th edition of the San Vicente race.



The race was 9 km long. All was by small paths in the mountain and in the woods. It was like running in NorwayJ J J

We started at 10.30 in La Nucia, ran up hills and down steep paths, sweating in the warm april sun (16 degrees).

45 min 30 sec later I arrived at the goal!!! This was in a small chapel (Ermita de San Vicente).

I am very happy with this race. I won my category, and was 4th in general.

And I improved my time from last year with 3 minutesJ

Running today I felt very good. Easy on the foot and with lots of energy!!! But when I fininshed the race I was so dizzy from the sun that I had to lay down and recover. Although I haven´t been training much running this winter, I have done a lot of sports; skiing, swimming, kayaking, cycling, walking in the mountains and yoga.

Trine won the 400 medley and the 100 butterfly in Authonomics Championships.

On 7 th march in the Monte Tossal swimpool in Alicante, were the Valencia´s Authonomics 2nd session championships and Trine swam the 400 medley and the 100 butterfly.

Trine got a good time in 400 medley, 5 minuts 45 seconds, and won the female category. In the other swimming test, Trine swam the 100 butterfly, winning also, and getting a good time too; 1 minut and 14 seconds.

In this championship Trine recived the gold medal for the 2009 authonomic circuit were won the five of the six swimming tests that she swam.

5 medals in Spanish swimming championship in Castellon

 

 

 

Trine won 5 medals, 3 silver and 2 bronce medals, in the 15th Spanishswimming championship edition in Catellón, between the days 28th and31st january.

Trine swam 8 trials and obtaining medals in; 200 breaststroke getting a time of 2 minuts and 56 seconds where she became 3rd., bronce medal.

• 100 butterfly getting a time of 1 minut and 11 seconds.. 2nd place and silver medal.
• 50 buterfly, getting a time of 31.4 seconds, best personal time in her life! she got 2nd place and silver.
• 200 medley, 2nd place here as well and silver. Her time was 2 minuts and 38 seconds.
• 4x50 relay medley where Trine was 3th with the team composed also bySara, Adolfo and Mateo. She swam freestyle, obtaining a time of 28seconds and 32 desimals. Great time
